the potter ds family of ceramic light fittings are the product of an ongoing collaboration with our long term lighting partner, rakumba. made using a hybrid process of traditional pottery techniques and cutting edge digital tools. continuing our exploration of the material potential of clay, the ds range is simple and refined and eschews the decorative in favour of the quiet beauty of the ceramic surface. the external simplicity of the fittings belie the internal sophistication of the fittings which utilise the latest led technology and a series of aluminium and acrylic extrusions to house the mechanics and diffuse the light output.
